Melanie Grace (named after our cherished daughter who in turn was named after her grandmother) came about after a friend complained that a favorite scented candle was being discontinued by a well known company. After exhaustive research and lots of experimenting, we came up with a fantastic duplicate. In the process, we found so many wonderful scents that it became difficult to pare down the list but we think we did a pretty good job of bringing you the best of the best. We have poured hundreds of candles since and, encouraged by family and friends, now make these candles available to you.

Since we focus on the way our candles smell, we don't feel we need to add frills to our packaging. We think the simplicity of our brown kraft box and ribbon presents a look of elegance that will make a fine gift. We know of one friend who keeps several candles on hand since they make excellent hostess gifts without the danger of calories!
